Toys for the North
Every November, we have a very special packing.
All through the year, IODE Chapters send books, toys, games and puzzles to the provincial packing room. The IODE Community Service's Department receives monetary donations that are used to purchase additional items.
Members of the Provincial Community Services Committee are the best shoppers. They are always on the hunt for the best deals.
We know the children in the remote locations of Canada enjoy these gifts as much as we enjoy purchasing and packing them.
The communities we support receive at least one carton of toys. Often these toys are the only Christmas presents the children receive.
