Congratulations are extended to Ysobel Balatbat our 2022 recipient.
Ysobel is a third-year student in the Drawing & Painting program at OCAD U. Her strong work ethic is inspired by her family who immigrated to Canada to provide her the opportunity to follow her dream. Receiving the IODE Ontario Scholarship has reinforced that she is on the right path, motivated her and allowed her to take additional classes and explore other areas of interest at OCAD U including Interior Design. While her hard work and high grades are what allowed her to receive the scholarship, her main focus is on learning and being immersed in the creative environment that OCAD U offers. She is very grateful to IODE for their generous support.
