A Provincial Life Membership is the highest honour that can be paid to a member of the Provincial Chapter by the Provincial Chapter. Provincial Life Memberships are granted for outstanding service to IODE Ontario over a number of years.
The committee recognizes that a member of the Provincial Executive Committee who has contributed to the Provincial Chapter by holding office, chairing committees and by general participation during meetings. In addition, length of service may be considered but would not necessarily be a criteria. Although a Provincial Life Membership is not given for service to other levels of IODE, any relevant information can be part of the application.
To initiate a Provincial Life Membership three members of the Provincial Executive Committee (excluding members of the Life Membership Committee) must each submit a letter of recommendation to the Provincial Life Membership Committee.
The presentation of Provincial Life Memberships traditional takes place at the Provincial Annual meeting.
