IODE Ontario

We are happy to introduce interested women to members in their local area for membership in IODE. The time commitment is minimal; members spend two to three hours a month attending their chapter meetings. You can make a difference to the lives of people in your community. BADGE OF MEMBERSHIP

The IODE badge of membership is worn by members to indicate their commitment to IODE. The seven-pointed star on a dark blue background has at its centre the Union Jack, showing our pride that Canada is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. The surrounding white circle embodying the name of the Organization in gold lettering is securely clasped at the base and symbolizes the union of purpose of all members. The crown surmounting the Badge represents loyalty to the Queen of Canada. Some members will also have a bar (or several bars) above their badge, designating them as past officers in either their own Chapter or at the Provincial or National levels. The badge is worn over a member’s heart.

JOIN AN E-CHAPTER

IODE E-Chapters are open to women of all ages who wish to belong to IODE but who do not have a local chapter in their community or cannot regularly attend IODE meetings. Join on-line and be involved and informed about IODE projects. You will access Members Only information through this website and receive electronically, Express News, to help you be involved, informed and empowered to make a difference. ALUMNI MEMBERSHIP

Alumni Membership is open to former IODE members who are united by the desire to maintain a membership in IODE, but are unable to attend monthly IODE meetings.
